ROBOTIC PALLETIZING
The design and selection of any robotic palletizing solution is determined by following parameters
- Line Speed
- Product packing style (carton, pail, bag…)
- Product weight
- Number of In feed
- Number of out-feed
- Slip sheet/Tier sheet
- Pallet pattern
- Pallet Type
The products are transferred to the robotic palletizing cell by the in feed conveyors. The empty pallet can be transferred to the cell by conveyor, transferring cart or automated guided vehicle. Pallet dispenser can also be integrated into the system
The robot then parallelizes the products into predetermined pattern on the pallet. The robot is equipped with a custom made gripper for picking and placing the products. The robot can pick one or more product in a single cycle to build the layers on the pallet.
The pallet load then transferred to the next station by conveyors or manually by forklift depending on the extent of automation implemented in the plant
